Mini is an uncomplicated and cheap insurance package for an apartment owner that can be signed very easily. This insurance covers four most common losses that can happen to an ordinary apartment.
  • Fire. Losses caused by fire, soot and smoke, lightning, explosion or plane crash are compensated for.
  • Water. Water damage can be caused by bursting pipes, household appliances connected to water network, a tap that was forgotten open out of negligence or water having flown out of an aquarium.
  • Natural disaster. Losses caused by storm, hail, ridged ice or natural flood are compensated for.
  • Vandalism. Losses caused by third parties, breaking of window glasses etc. are compensated for.
Home insurance contract includes free compensation of temporary residence rental expenses up to 3200 euros.

You can calculate the price of the package easily by yourself: insurance of one square metre costs 0,09 euros  in a month. For example when insuring an apartment of 60 m2 your monthly payment is 5,4 euros.

If you wish, you can choose in addition:
  • insurance of home contents against losses caused by fire, water accident and natural disasters. The monthly payment for the package rises by 1 euro;
  • insurance of home contents against the losses listed above plus burglary. The monthly payment for the package rises by 1,3 euros;
  • liability insurance, that compensates for the losses caused to neighbours as a result of an accident that happened in your apartment. The monthly payment for the package rises by 1,3 euros.
The deductible defined in the package is 200 euros and the package can be signed only for an apartment located in a stone house and which is permanently lived in. In case of additional options the home contents are insured and liability insurance compensates for a loss to the amount of 6400 euros.

In insuring an apartment, ERGO does not make any restrictions on the compensable insurance payout, but by all means guarantees the compensation of all expenses for the reconstruction of the apartment to its previous condition.

In terms of the Mini package of ERGO home insurance an insurance event is defined as an unexpected and unforeseeable event which is exactly determined in the insurance conditions. In case an occurrence does not correspond to this, it is not an insurance event.

ERGO Mini package is also taken into account by banks, should you wish to take a loan to buy or renovate your home.
